TAG is a period that middle school students participate in weekly. TAG takes place on Tuesday at 2:00 after 6th period. TAG stands for Talented And Gifted. Holy Trinity offers this program to motivate our students and give them the moral point of the program, that everyone has great talents. This also gives them the point that people may not realize that they have such an extraordinary gift, but they just need to reach down deep into themselves and find out what it is. That is why TAG is a system of combined classes including Art, Tessellations, Web Design, Academic Decathlon, Science/Engineering, and Creative Writing. Each TAG class consists of a mix of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students. Each session lasts 4 weeks, then they rotate classes. From this we allow the students to experience and learn all skills and discover their talents is. TAG is also a way for students to learn skills that will benefit them later in life, and even in the classroom during the year. TAG allows students to learn to work together and show respect for each other and certain life skills.
