VIRTUS Training

Archdiocesan Policy Mandates:  to volunteer OR work with children in a SCHOOL or PARISH in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, every adult must do the following two things: 

1. BE FINGERPRINTED.  Live Scan fingerprinting with the Archdiocese is free of charge.  Visit www.la-archdiocese.org or call the school, 310-833-0703, or the parish office, 310-548-6535, ext. 300 for a current monthly schedule in the South Bay area.  To see the monthly fingerprint schedules, click on the following link:

2. ATTEND A VIRTUS CLASS.  Virtus training with the Archdiocese is free of charge.  Each Virtus Training session is valid for 4 years (initial training session is 3 hours, re-certification session is only 90 minutes).  To see the schedule of VIRTUS classes, click on the following link:

For your convenience, Holy Trinity will offer Virtus Initial Certification in the Parish Center Auditorium (209 N. Hanford Ave., San Pedro) on the following date:

• Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to noon

This training is for all LA Archdiocese employees or volunteers who have not yet had Virtus training.

These sessions are free of charge, & valid for 4 years.
