Religion at Holy Trinity
By: Annie (7-1)

All grades, preschool through eighth grade, learn about our faith using the We Believe curriculum. The regular religion classes are usually taught by the homeroom teacher. We also participate in curriculums such as the Gratitude Curriculum and Good Touch Bad Touch. When we participate in Catholic Schools Week, we think about how privileged we are to be in a Catholic school.  The students advertise the school at Sunday masses. During Holy Week, or the week before Easter, the 5th graders showcase a live Stations of the Cross. Each class attends weekly mass, and the 7th and 8th graders stay and participate in Adoration. Each month, the whole school comes together and takes part in a school mass, which is planned by different classes. The biggest example of our Catholic faith is the way every student treats another. We are taught to follow the Ten Commandments and treat each person as they would like to be treated.

“Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the LORD your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.” (Joel 2:13)
