CJSF

California Junior Scholarship Federation

The California Junior Scholarship Federation (CJSF) is an Honor’s Society that encourages good grades, and citizenship for middle schoolers.

Students must have good grades in the core subjects (reading, math, english, history, religion, and behavior) to be a member of CJSF.

An “A” in any of the core subjects is equal to 3 points. A “B” is 2 points. A “C”, or any grade lower is no points. To be accepted into CJSF, students must earn 20 points in one semester.

Students in 7th-8th grade are able to become Honor Members, which gives them a gold seal on their diploma. To become an Honor Member, 7th-8th graders have to have been a member for 3/4 semesters or 4/4 semesters.

“CJSF prepares the student for CSF membership. Membership offers the opportunities to participate in activities, which benefit the school, the community, and the student.”
